About NaviSlí
NaviSlí DLR Harbour Concierge helps visitors and residents around Dún Laoghaire Harbour check swimming water, air quality and local events, using official and operator-published data only. It is part of a DLR Chamber cross-border initiative.
Swimming water
Latest results: Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (dlrcoco.ie). We read DLR's bathing water results page about once an hour: the summary sample date, each site's status, any Prior Warning, Advisory or Prohibition notices, and the per-site PDF reports. DLR samples weekly during the bathing season (1 June to 15 September) and about fortnightly outside it. Results usually take 48 hours to come back from the lab. Results are marked "Not current" when older than 10 days in season or 21 days out of season. If DLR's page can't be read, we show the EPA's latest sample instead and say so.
Annual classifications and formal notices: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Bathing Water Open Data on beaches.ie, licence CC BY 4.0. This includes all-season restrictions such as the one at Dún Laoghaire Baths. The annual classification is based on four seasons of results, so it can differ from a single recent sample.

Recurring events are grouped by title and venue, with all dates listed on the Events page. Listings are provided by organisers; check details with the organiser.

A research trial (UrbanDip, DCU with DLR County Council) is testing near real-time water sampling at Dún Laoghaire Baths. Its results are not yet published. Official EPA results remain the primary source.
How fresh is the data?
We check the sources about every 15 minutes. Every result shows its date and age. Water results older than 10 days (in season) or 21 days (out of season) and air readings older than 2 hours are marked "Not current". If a source cannot be reached, we say so and never show substitute figures.
